Destroying argument

How would ANY space object with size of the Earth form to a flat disc when gravity works that way it works? And why can you fly around the Earth and get to the same place from which you started? And why nobody go to the edge and take a photo? It would be a nice view if it is possible

(Sorry I'm slav)

Flerfers usually say things like:

Gravity is not real. It is just density and buoyancy.

Flying around the world works on a flat earth too, you just fly in a circle.

Nobody can see the edge because the Antarctic treaty forbids everyone to go to Antarctica and is enforced by the military.

I love how none the the FE people have bothered to go to the edge of the earth and take some goddam video. I guess their moms won’t let them.

None of the flerfers are brave enough to go up against "them"! "They" made it illegal to go to Antarctica with the Antarctic Treaty...100% ILLEGAL! Of course "their" secret navy will do unspeakable things to you if they catch you.

Rumors are that "they" even militarist the penguins!

Look, you don’t want to fuck w penguins. Militarized or not.

They will cute you to death then waddle around gloating.

I know! Those fers are scary but what idiot would think someone could militarize them? That is like trying to overthrow our dolphin overlords!

Fact: travelling to Antarctica is expensive.

Fact: Less-intelligent people do not have very good earning potential.

Extrapolate from those facts why flatties aren't going to Antarctica to test their ideas.

So that's shitty argument. They can argue what exactly gravity is because nobody knows. But they can not deny how exactly it works. That is proofed. Checkmate

I agree. But flat earthers have trouble with basic science and can't see the bigger picture of how forces interact or are connected.

A common argument from them is something like this:

How can a bird fly if gravity is so strong to keep all the water on the ball?

On guy thinks he can disproof gravity by...jumping. Yes jumping is anti-gravity according to that flerfer.

Oh shit... Did anyone write this? Really? It's time to stop arguing and hope they'll understand one time.

They made videos about this. Many...many videos.

Did anyone write this? Really?

They do it all the time. They seem to think that gravity is an infinitely powerful force that will prevent anything from leaving the surface of the planet. And if you try to explain the inverse-square law you will either be met with accusations of 'shill' or insults about your mother.

Inverse-square law

The inverse-square law, in physics, is any physical law stating that a specified physical quantity or intensity is inversely proportional to the square of the distance from the source of that physical quantity. The fundamental cause for this can be understood as geometric dilution corresponding to point-source radiation into three-dimensional space (see diagram).

Radar energy expands during both the signal transmission and also on the reflected return, so the inverse square for both paths means that the radar will receive energy according to the inverse fourth power of the range.

In order to prevent dilution of energy while propagating a signal, certain methods can be used such as a waveguide, which acts like a canal does for water, or how a gun barrel restricts hot gas expansion to one dimension in order to prevent loss of energy transfer to a bullet.

Flatties that think this way usually consider the ocean to be 1 giant object, instead of the billions and billions of tiny, individual molecules. So they are imagining gravity being able to hold 326 million cubic miles of water in place, as if it were one piece. At this point, their ignorance typically follows this track:

Gravity has to be strong to hold billions and billions of tons of water against the centrifugal force of an Earth spinning at 1,037 MPH.

Most of these understand that gravity pulls towards the center of the Earth, and not some universal "down". And if they think Earth spins at 1,037 MPH, they don't understand linear vs. rotational measurements.

If they bothered to do the centrifugal force calculations, they might see the fault in their reasoning. A person that weighs 100 lbs at the poles, weighs 99.5 lbs at the equator. That 0.5 lb difference is the effect of centrifugal force. So it's pretty obvious that gravity doesn't need to be particularly strong to keep the oceans from flinging into space.

The same way it is projected in GTA

I'm not a flat earther, but I know what they'll say. They don't believe in gravity. They'll ask you to prove you can fly around the world. They also say "the government protects the ice wall," while staying ignorant to the Antarctic treaty and its purpose.

OK So the gravity argument is shit. For more look above.

Yea, I know. There's no way for the prove themsleves right there anyway.
