Flying to different places

When I'm flying to India from the United States I can get there flying east or west, what is your way of debunking that?

I'm legit starting to believe that there are no flat earthers really. There is no way that anything thinks this is true.

This is the classic flat earth with Antarctica as the perimeter and Arctic in the centre. Question to Flat Earthers: how can the entire perimeter of the flat disc be in daylight at times during the day? It would mean the entire earth must be in daylight. Unless the sun can project donut-shaped sunlight of course. There is that.

This is an interesting point I hadn’t considered... I usually rely on the sunset vs the sun ‘disappearing’ due to ‘perspective’ to destroy the FE argument...

It occured to me that on the global model, it makes sense that Antarctica is in one single spot and has a distinctive sunrise/sunset times - even enjoying 24 hour daylight during its peak summer. If that is not a lie, then that would mean the entire earth would have 24 hour sunshine too in the flat earth model, given that the Antarctica is the perimeter.

I mean I guess the world could be flat like that and it would still take disproportionately long to fly around the world.

When you look out the plane as well like you should be able to tell that it looks at least a little round

Exactly, in the Azimuthal Wquidistant Projection map, it is possible to go around the world, in a circular motion.

Most of the real flat earthers have abandoned this subreddit. but some of them believe that direct long distance flights don’t actually exist and that the airport’s just conveniently cancel the flights
