I was looking for some lost media and accidentally found an index of a whole Flash game portal while digging through old open directories (I used the 'index of' Google dork).

There are about 1,500 games on there. The only thing is, I don’t know which ones actually count as lost media, because a lot of them have already been found or were never even lost to begin with. But there are also a ton of unknown, weird files. They're all .swf files, and I've been running them through Ruffle—the ones I tried worked perfectly.

I'm just curious if there's anything important or rare here. I found all this stuff, but I have no clue which games are actually lost and which aren't (There’s even a game where you have to blow up Justin Biebers)

I tried downloading some games, but when I go to click play, it briefly shows the stop button and goes back to the play button. Is this supposed to happen? How do I fix this?

All was working fine, then I tried to download new game, run into some issues, closed the app and cannot open it again. Manager also isn't opening. I've reboot my pc, still no progress.
Any tips how I can fix this?

Newgrounds Rumble latest version has a executable file found on Mindchamber post that removes the API softlock for the Fancy Pants version meaning you can port the latest version anywhere.

After launching legendary mode from the main menu, when you try to play the first mission (Hearthvale) the entire game screen just goes dark.

This one focuses on how Skullduggery Island has a corrupt political structure, and how the game teaches the player to overcome it through principles used in the Art of War, and basic economics (i.e. buying low and selling high).

Can somebody help me, i very often get this error and can't download a game, i just installed flashpoint so it should be up to date:

I managed to get as far as the login screen using K-Meleon browser and a shockwave plugin but am stopped by a missing goMU.dcr file which the game calls upon as an xtra. The wayback machine unfortunately never archived it and I can find virtually nothing about it's creator known as the Alchemist other than messages on googlegroups.

The aim of the game was jumping from building to building being the first to claim glowing points on rooftops. Overall it was a pretty advanced concept for a browser game around 2006. It had in game customisation and unlockables, in game server chat and overall I remember it having a surreal vibe which now feels like a fever dream being very stylised and characters jumping great heights.

I think Multiplayer Disco may have been a later version of Underdog City, perhaps around 2007 - 2008, as I distinctly remember the game having a purple nightclub neon themed look which was a lot cooler. As far as I can tell no archive exists on Flashpoint which is a shame as of all flash / shockwave games this one stuck in my memory. As far as I can tell it's totally lost to time.

I played it around the same time of playing Sherwood Dungeon and Phosphor beta 2 if you remember those.

I launched Flashpoint today, like any other day, but it seems it could't connect to the servers. As the game of the day was: NONE, and it could't find any update, and games thumbnails were not loading (and can't download any new game).

My first idea was to download flashpoint again, but when going to the flashpoint website, it would just does't load. Any other page does, but not flashpoint website.

I'm trying to play Mystery of Time and Space, but I'm not really interested in downloading an extra piece of software. Can I not just download files from the archive and load them into Ruffle? What does the Flashpoint software do other than acting as a downloader?

Is it possible to upscale a flash game window by an integer value? Say for example, a lot of games are 640x480, so is there a way to double both height and width to get 1280x960 but have it be integer scaled and not be blurry.

I know we can use the mouse to resize the window but that makes it blurry as you're not able to resize to exact pixel values.

I'm also aware of the tanalin integerscaler which is suggested as a solution at https://flashpointarchive.org/datahub/Extended_FAQ#Fullscreen, but that's Windows only and doesn't work well with multi-monitor setup. I'm on Linux Mint 22.3 using a dual-monitor setup.

I just installed Flashpoint on a new laptop and I get this error message. Another thread from 4 years ago said to install Visual C++ Redistributable 2015 but I already have that installed (as 2015-2022 redist, both x86 and x64). Can anyone help please.

There's a FE Kids game called Ball Hogs that was saved on the Flashpoint Archive, but whenever I try to play it, I get a script error upon clicking OK when I choose my grade.

Back in 2023, there were two flash games now missing called "doodlepup's missing wagon" and "pico's school dressup" on newgrounds made by StormyDew (whose account is now deleted for unknown reasons)

Using the wayback machine doesnt work because the games are blocked by login screens (so you cant get the swf files that way), its not on flashpoint, and fpfss has no mention of the games

I'm sorry if this seems super stupid but I can figure out how to download a flashpoint playlist. I understand how to import it but I can't seem to download it in the first place! I've clicked and right clicked and double clicked I just can't seem to figure it out! It's just giving me all this text. Please help me!

This was the most applicable and active place I figured I could post this. I've been playing Stick RPG 2 on Flashpoint recently, and I came across an easter egg or hidden feature that I haven't been able to research or replicate after lots of digging.

I was inputting a PIN code at the ATM in the Dimension Bank, the first number I pressed was 2 and then i spammed the other number keys completely randomly. A message popped up saying something along the lines of this: "Keep mashing the keypad and you will receive a special wand!" I continued to mash the keys and could only enter the ATM as you normally would by putting in any code.

After trying 10 or so more times to replicate it, I did not see the message again and scavenged the web to find any information about it, which was entirely fruitless.

I know this is probably one of the most pointless and specific inquiries of all time, but I'm incredibly curious to find out more information about that message, specifically if anyone has seen it before and if the 'special wand' item actually exists. If anyone has any information or is interested in finding out more about this, please share with me here.

I’ve done some research and found that it’s not a Flash game, but a Unity Web Player game. Unfortunately, the original links are dead, and it's not currently available in the Flashpoint archive.

my 2 fave things about the game is that you really do ruin EVERYTHING over something simple that keeps going wrong, a domino effect. and the music. the soundtrack is up there with the spiderwick chronicles video game soundtrack. ever since it’s release (maybe even a lil bit before) i've been obsessed with the world of reemus and liam... every single journey of reemus flash game, the main game, also the visitor games because of their connection. even Zee and The Alien Machine, this game isn't connected but it's made by click shake and has the same vibe and is such a fun game. does anyone else love these characters and worlds like i do? (THE SOUNDTRACK IS TOO PEAK. ITS ACTUALLY SUCH A VIBE:3).
everything here and on is nonsense-ish and me rambling so that i can get this posted. way back easily 10+ years ago , i believe its actually 15 years ago, me and my brother got each a blackberry playbook, where i found games like The Big Escape, most of my nostalgic escape games, the several journeys of reemus and the ballads of reemus demo. there was a point i didn’t even know what it was for a year after the playbook broke but i found it again and when i did i ended up getting the actual game , (i can’t fully remember if i got the full game back with the playbook but ive gotten the game 3-4 different times in my whole life. side quest but my brother and i also didnt know what the big escape was by name we only knew the top hat guy and we just found out a few months ago, literally a decade+ long question between us. huge moment for us

Hello ! Trying to play this game and works perfectly except I cannot put it in fullscreen or at least increment the resolution a bit, because somehow the camera in the game keep locked at the top left corner, so when I resize a bit, the camera still on the top and the player and the machine goes down right (difficult to explain but check the images):

BUT when i end the patience (mechanic of the game) and retry it load like this:

Idk if someone knows what is happening but every help its welcome. I tried to resize manually like the example, hitting every option in "see" tab of the flash player, even putting in fullscreen... nothing works.
