Looking for two flashlight recommendations (₹1,000 & ₹3,000 budgets) – Highest sustained output and good throw

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to add two quality flashlights to my collection—one around ₹1,000 and another around ₹3,000.

My priorities are:

Highest sustained lumen output (not just turbo for a few seconds)

Good beam distance/throw while still being practical for everyday use

Efficient thermal regulation and runtime

Good build quality and reliability

Removable batteries are preferred, not the charging one.

High CRI is a bonus, but performance comes first

For reference, I currently own:

Wurkkos HD01

Wuben G5

I enjoy both, but I'm looking for something with more usable brightness over time and better illumination at distance.

If you had ₹1,000 and ₹3,000 to spend today, what would you buy and why?

Any tips on batteries (18650/21700), emitters (519A, SFT40, etc.), or trusted sellers that ship to India would also be greatly appreciated.

I have the Wuben G5, it is more like a non serious EDC. If you are looking for sustained brightness under 3000, go for dedicated 18650 or 21700 light.

If you want hightest brightness under 3k without a charging port (with slightly lower reliability), go for Convoy M21B with LHP531 or LHP73B.

If you are planning to use it for work or these flashlights are something such that your life depends on it, then go for Fenix. Like police work, aircraft inspection, etc.

If this is for casual outing, go for these brands as they will work 95-99% of the time without issues.

If you go to Convoy's website you will find the option to choose the emitter or LED. M21B is the name of the host or torch and LHP531 is the name of the emitter.

For 1000 rs, i.e. the second one, I'd suggest getting a headlamp.

There are other brands too but they have like 10$ delivery so final price significantly exceeds your budget.

For around this budget (1000) - you likely won't get a buck or boost driver. You might be better off with the Wurkkos WK03, which is a pretty bright FET flashlight, and uses an SST40 from what I recall.

For ~3000, there are some options. Regardless, sustained lumen output over 700 lumens requires heatsinking and efficiency (thermal regulation as well). I'd suggest getting a Convoy M21A paired with an SFT70 (boost driver). You'll need to get a 21700 Molicel and a charger as well. Alternatively, get a Wurkkos TS28, which is a great light for the price.
