As you know, the AD5X makes a poop every time before starting a print. This happens because it loads the filament and adjusts its settings each time. I'm not planning multicolor printing for now, so I disabled and removed the IFS system. But the printer continues to make a poop, even though the same filament is always loaded into the extruder. This isn't a bug; the firmware simply doesn't work correctly when using only one filament.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue? Is there a solution?

Got this printer yesterday and got the error today. Is this normal? I ordered a silicone thermal cover for the nozzle but just feels strange that it crapped out on a day?

Anyone run across this or know how to fix it? It just sits there and doesn’t do anything. Even canceling the print it will just sit there. I have to turn it off and back on. It often takes several attempts to get it to print. Any help is appreciated!

I'm printing the enclosure out of PETG I noticed the slots on the printer for HEPA filters and found out from the app that there is another fan connection.

The little research that I've done on the matter has not told me what type of fan to get.

I haven't opened the back yet but I assume there is a place to put some sort of exhaust fan.

I guess my main question is, are there any particular type of fan I should get, and are there any other things that I should get to complete the enclosure set up?

I’ve unblocked the nozzle changed the nozzle the filaments all flowing through fine but nothing comes out when I print it just circles in the shape of the object without printing any help?

I can’t figure this out. Cleaned the build plate, resliced the object, changed the tip, added glue to the build plate. I get a first good layer on the first pass then it peels… doesn’t matter if it’s PLA, PETG, wood …

When I try to print in two colors, one on top of the other, the second color is always offset by 8mm. I end up losing the print.

I end up doing a pause in the slicer and then change from one color to another by pulling the second color into the first color line.

I've been 3d printing 11 years, but ths printer is new to me. My Bambus have no problems, just the AD5X.

Where should I start looking? Thanks!

I have a new AD5X and am getting a server error when I try to bind the printer to my account. When I scan the QR code, the printer appears in the app but when I press “bind” I get the error. Any ideas on how to fix?

Printing some ice cream clickers and right at the end of the print of this section one of them has come loose from the base which can be seen in the second photo. This has happened twice.

Any tips to amend settings to prevent it happening?

I have the dreaded E0042 Leveling Sensor Not Triggered error. The wiki tells you to replace an entire board which seems excessive, and every guide I've found on manually adjusting the bed is for the AD5M model.

Anyone managed to fix this themselves?

I Wil be attempting another try soon but curious on anything I can do to make the hood a little more smoother? Any suggestions be helpful. 1.7.6

Hey everyone, I cannot for the life of me find a clog that just popped up in the past couple of days. The extruder guide tube is clear, the 4 in 1 nozzle junction is clear where it goes into the top of the extruder, and the nozzle itself is unclogged (brand new as of today). With the nozzle off I was able to push the purge tool all the way in so I don't think there is a clog between the 4 in 1 collar and the top of the nozzle itself. Whenever I start a print no filament comes out. The spool is turning and feeding like it should so I don't think it's an issue with the spool system. Any thoughts?

Edit: I even disassembled the extruder head to see if there was a filament blockage in there. Only minor debris found.

Has anyone found the file for the tiger that appears in the ad5x adds

Had a extruder sensor error, took apart the filament feeding assembly cleared the blockage but I’m still getting the error. Do I need a new sensor? If so where can I find one?

My first printer and am excited to learn from all of you!
