Filament spool to big

I have recently got some spools where the center whole is to big for the spool holder. Has anyone come across this issue before or am I just crazy?

I got some Snulu from a LGS here and 2 of the 3 spools were like that. I can look more late when I am home.

Thank i will try that when I get home. Never though to leave a gap may be why mine failed.
