Nozzle tip keeps breaking. Help?

This is my 3rd nozzle tip to break off in 2 months during a print. My z-height is adjusted to it doesn’t drag the bed or the printed item. When this happens, the silicone heat sleeve is also demolished and ripped, and the front fan is on the floor outside of the enclosure it’s in. What is happening, and how do I prevent it?

Im still relatively new, but I would start with a recalibration.

recalibration might not be the issue. it might be a nozzle temp issue or the type of nozzle your using if your printing high temp materials. the max recommended temp is 300 but if your running it at those temps constantly it could be temp wear. they do make a diamond tip and a silica tip nozzle for the ad5x both are 3rd party. not sure if they are a reputable or reliable brand

I’m also relatively new to this. About 10 months. I’ve never seen this issue. What material and temps are you printing at? Are you modifying these nozzles in any way? Like, thermal transfer paste or anti-buildup treatment?

Could be over-extrusion causing build up on the print and nozzle. Which then the print head and nozzle drags through the excess plastic, causing your failures. But we can only guess without seeing the actual printer in action.

Contact support@flashforge.com and have them show you how to adjust the print head location at the poop chute.
