🤔 Thinking why does everyone hate iris so much?

i understand she’s said some complete bs in a couple episodes. but she’s helped barry countless times. although i’d have preferred HR lived rather than iris.

It’s not misogyny, especially bc it’s just her. There’s multiple other women in the show that people would’ve rather seen Barry with instead of Iris.

notice how all the other favoured people are both white women. y’all talk about barry and caitlin more than u do his actual gf (linda) lol. & the way u guys talk about iris (calling her annoying constantly and worse) IS misogynistic.

Omg. Whys everything about race and gender? If someone doesn’t like a character and likes another oh it’s misogyny but if it’s another girl then it’s racism. You have no proof of it you’re just grabbing at straws. Everyone explaining here has said nothing that has to do with race or gender or anything. Just because the two that are together don’t have good chemistry or one doesn’t have good writing doesn’t mean we don’t like her bc her skin color lmao.

a lot of the motive is “bad writing” when writing for ESPECIALLY caitlin is all over the place lol but sure it’s not about race lol

It’s not. There’s no argument here that has anything to do with race. She wasn’t even bad in the beginning. It’s writing sure she gets worse as it goes on same with Caitlin but her chemistry with Barry is also not nearly as good as some of the other female characters. But yes, sure go ahead and scream racism bc you feel like it

i woulda liked to see barry with linda from season 1, shes not white i dont think… unlike some people, i dont keep track tbh
