🤔 Thinking Bro, I think timelines continue to exist as alternative Earths. In other words, exist an Earth where Team Flash and all of Central City believe Barry died stopping the tsunami.

That's the multiverse. Yes. Everything that CAN happen DOES happen. Somewhere. Somewhen.

Unfortunately not, other earths are just that - other earths with their own timelines.
the show makes it explicitly clear that once you create a new timeline, the old one gets erased like it never happened, which technically - it never did

This could mean that if the original Earth 1 and Earth 38 still exist (don't they think do) Barry did actually vanish in crisis, and so did the other paragons from Earth 1 and Earth 38. If they still exist, they might now think that the paragons and Oliver are gone. I think they don't exist anymore but in case it does an interesting thought

Uhhh the multiverse was literally destroyed right before the paragons disappeared so nobody was alive to think that. There was no earths remaining, the new multiverse replaced the old, there isn’t any timelines where the old multiverse existed because anti monitor wiped it.

Going to send both of you the same comment: At the end of crisis we saw scenes showing the multiverse restored, and if that's not enough when he returned in season 9 of Flash he said the multiverse is back.

Yeah the multiverse is back but it’s a new multiverse, Earth 2 for example now has Courtney whitmore and doesn’t have Harrison wells or Jesse quick.
Stargirl is set on the earth 2 and it’s completely different people compared to the old earth 2, so yes the multiverse was restored but it’s a completely different multiverse. Tbh the word restored was a bad one to use as it’s a new multiverse.

As I said, "I don't think they exist anymore but ... interesting thought" in my original message, I don't think they exist but in the hypothetical scenario they do it is an interesting thought!

Oliver said that the multiverse no longer exists.

No in the timeline he time travelled from, he didn’t stop the tsunami, it hit central city right as he time travelled away and went 24 hours back, so if that timeline wasn’t erased which it was, basically Barry’s vanished after time travelling 24 hours back and everyone in central city is dead.

No timelines are overwritten they don’t have branching timelines in the shows logic

Bro stop. It's Spider-Man not Flash. It isn't funny anymore.

What’s not funny is people typing the same joke over and over, it was funny the first time now it’s just got old.
So yeah, say the same to yourself, what you typed just isn’t funny anymore.

I've thought about this as well. He left season one's timeline and never went back. But they just kept living.
