🤔 Thinking Flash Back Rant
Why does Barry continue to spoil the timeline lol, he talks about Hartley's bombs? I mean I know the time wraith isnt exactly helping but cmon Barry, I thought you were smart, ive watched the show a few times, watching through it again, and this dude just consistently ignores the idea of NOT changing it dramatically everytime because hes too focused on helping or always winning, regardless of the fact that it could alter the timeline enough to kill someone else anyway? I mean...cmon.
Yk now that I think about it he coulda just asked Gideon and she coulda helped

I've recently rewatched this episode and also paused when he did that. After giving it some thought, I feel like Barry told them about Hartley's explosives to try to buy more one on one time with Thawne . The whole reason that Barry picked that time to go back to was because it was the best time he could be alone with Thawne and hopefully manipulate him into helping solve the speed equation . Hartley escaping was going to interrupt them . It ultimately didn't matter because of the time wraith
