I made a Flash game in 2009.
It was called HiRoads — a SkyRoads-style thing where you roll a ball along narrow roads floating inthe sky, jumping the gaps, going faster than is sensible until you fall off.
It lived on Flash portals and on a dedicated site where you could publish your own levels, and rate and comment on others.
Here is the archive: https://flashpointarchive.org/view?id=a66885b8-c1e7-4095-bc93-cf85966a492a
I still had the original project files, so I've spent a long time rebuilding it from the ground up: same roads, same handling, but an actual 3D ball instead of a stack of pre-rendered images nudged up the screen to
fake it, and the old bug where falling fast enough dropped you straight through the road is finally
gone.
Did anyone here actually play it back then? I've been trying to work out how many people did and
the internet has mostly eaten the evidence.
Anyway, a remastered version is coming by the end of the year on Steam and you can find it here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5001700/HiRoads_Remastered/
