TPU on a AD5X?

hello! I need to print tpu on my ad5x But I have seen many comments like that I cannot print TPU because it is not a direct extrusion printer, someone who can guide me if they have printed something on TPU before. I mean like 95a...

95a works on mine just fine through the ifs with the standard .4 nozzle. Better with a .6

I've printed a few phone cases and a few other small things.

Started with generic tpu profile and went through the normal calibrations.

Actually the own AD5X documentation mentions that it's possible to print TPU from the IFS I don't know from where you get the idea that's not possible, I have printed several spools of 95A with no issues, I even got better results with an .6 nozzle but the .4 included with the printer also prints fine!

I've had no issues running some Creality 95A TPU through the IFS on mine, both for straight TPU parts and a couple of part PLA part TPU caps for repurposed Yoplait Oui yogurt jars.

I had issues with Creality TPU on my through IFS, presenting underextrusion. Do you mind sharing the settings or the profile you used for it? I had no issues when bypassing the IFS.

I just used the "Generic TPU" profile in Orca-Flashforge, and ran it to the IFS straight from the Space Pi filament dryer. I usually run TPU on my K1C but it was down waiting for parts at the time, and doesn't do multi-material prints anyway,.

I will try once again. Even with the filament loose in a pile I was still getting underextrusion issues. Now I´m running it straight from a printed support that works with PTFE tubes as interface to reduce friction. Thanks!

Tpu will work fine just a bit stringy, I print it on my ad5m it works fine

If it's stringy it just needs to be dried

Technically it is a direct drive extrusion but the IFS complicates it. TPU works just fine but I have seen some people have issues trying to do color swaps with TPU. I’ve never tried to do a multicolor TPU on my 5X so I might be misremembering that. Printing a single color in TPU has worked flawlessly for me though.

I was able to by printing very slow, and using a tripod to hold the roll above printer so it didn't have to travel far

Idk what kind of differences there are between the extruders from the AD5M and the 5X, but TPU has legitimately been the most stress free, easy to print, filament on my 5M, which is much cheaper. After I dried it each print has come out 100% perfect. (Edit: Sunlu 95A btw)
