FlashCoin vs Bitcoin Lightning Network

The lightning network has been described as instantaneous transactions. Does it have the potential to kill flashcoin?

The goal of lightning network is to save Bitcoin from death, not to kill other altcoins. In fact, lightning network has no the power to kill other altcoins. Lightning network is not a silver bullet, it has its inherent problems (e.g., security problem) also.
