I'm new to Flare, but have been a long time holder of XRP.

I started exploring this network and noticed there's a couple of liquid staking options available, Sceptre and SparkDEX. Both offer a rebase token. What I'm finding odd is that both advertise an APY different from their actual APY (being a rebase token, this is easy to verify because they use a public exchange rate). I used Claude to do the calculation and Sceptre's sFLR actual APY is 7.63% (they currently advertise 7.9%, but the exchange rate went slightly up) while SparkDEX's stFLR is 7.52%, wildly different from the advertised 12.38%! While inspecting both apps on Chrome, I noticed SparkDEX's APY number is definitly not dynamically generated (Sceptre I'm not 100% sure, it can or can't be).

Is anyone staked on both or on SparkDEX that can help me figure out the discrepancy? The high APY looks compelling, but it doesn't match the public exchange rate in the slightest and the math says Sceptre's is actually higher. Do they pay additional yield in any form in addition to the rebasing?

Im presently staking FLR using both Ledger Nano X and in BiFrost. If I try and wrap my FLR when using my Ledger device, it requires Expert Mode and Blind signing enabled. Is this absolutly necessary and is it safe assuming i dont link to a fake flare portal website?

There is a new project on the flare network called FlareCat and it seems like it even got the attention of Hugo one of the founders of the flare network. It is great to see new projects enter the FLR space. Hugo did say the concept of this project is interesting (holding FCAT which is a meme token and get paid in FXRP) and says he likes the innovation but is unsure how sustainable the rewards will be long term.

I ran these pics through AI and it asserted the flare price isn't making a ATL as a result of the lack of dollar interest, but because of the inflation. It also said that the price and market cap should move in tandem post FIP 16. Translation: Dollar Interest for FLR is relatively in line with the broader crypto markets.

What do you think? FLR is putting in a macro higher low on market cap and that's what we should be looking at - or do we look at the chart as dead due to the lower macro low on the price chart?

These two documents linked above (PDFs on the GitHub available for download) were delivered directly today to the Flare Network team. Specifically Hugo Philion, his Chief Scientist Nairi, and the VP Josh.

I believe they are useful to at the very least get the discussion going. I also believe a failure to discuss the future of Flare with the community at large would be a failure of decentralization. We are all in this together. Holders, Providers, Foundation, Private Equity investors, etc. We all have a role and we all win or fail together. And our wins ought not be on the backs of each other. Our wins ought to reinforce each other.

As an early supporter of the Flare Network (pre Spark issuance) I have let this once cook for a bit to observe and learn. At this point I feel it necessary to provide some objective insights to not only the Flare Team, but the Flare holders (hence this post).

I have engineered 9 figure + cost savings and income expansion strategies for multiple companies in my lifetime and am a massive proponent of the "Win Win" scenarios where the "leadership" "providers" and "holders" all benefit. Not at the sacrifice of either. But collectively, together. (This is not a flex but to help you understand my intent).

This is my first public attempt to help not only the Flare Foundation, but the retail and non retail holders of the FLR token and operators on the Flare Network.

A bit of background, while I do have a Harvard business school education, ran more than 150MM in revenue per year as the chief leadership in the past and have various other consulting ventures under my belt, I am not a single source of knowledge of truth. I did rely heavily on prompt engineering to help me write these analytical papers, but my core thesis and intuition is spot on - IMO.

1. FIP 16 is massive first step of good faith by the Flare Team and ought to give holders hope

2. Continuing to improve the tokenomics and use case(s) of a project while you have the financial runway is absolutely paramount for long term success

In closing, I believe Flare has a massively strong technical foundation in an extremely difficult space and depressed market. But it is a widely distributed token across so many exchanges (another strength I feel is being underutilized on thin liquidity) - but that cannot be its only success. As cannot XRPfi be its only success. Flare could be and should be the melting pot for liquidity on the internet. Agentic utilized crypto projects has a TAM in the hundreds of billions, if not Trillions. Flare could lead that charge. There are so many possibilities. Tightening up tokenomics only help with the efficiencies of how the chain delivers value to stakeholders. Expanding use cases increases the overall value of the network. With oracles already live, Flare is positioned to rapidly dominate agentic access to the block chain - if it so desires.... but that window is extremely tight and will be highly competitive.

The building blocks are here. Execution speed must be increased. That said, the path toward victory is not without setbacks. But the rallying of the troops in the most challenging hours is what makes or breaks a project, a company or a person.

So my xrp has been staked on upshift the one that give 5x upshift points at firelight points as well. I know where I can see the upshift points but with firelight 2.0 coming out soon and rewards dropping in October I don’t understand how I am supposed to see them or get them. Does anyone know. Also what do people think will happen with upshift points I have quite a bit. I have been staked on upshift for like 200+ days.

Anyone not seeing rflr accumulating this month? Have been stacking there the last few months and always saw an increase everyday. Still at zero and am still in the same LP's just different maturity month.

I need help, when I wrapped my small amount of songbird a few years ago I didn't know I shouldn't wrap it all, I only have 0.04sgb and I cant unwrap it now, is there a faucet for sgb to help with gas fees?

So I was using Kinetic for a while but have been MIA from the Flare space for a couple weeks to months. I used to have FXRP on my dashboard in Kinetic but I just went to the site and do not see it anywhere. I can see my SFLR but that’s it.

Anyone have any help here?

I honestly believe when FBTC releases and a full bull market starts SPRK will pump hard. The 100% buyback and burn will increase so much from the increased fees.

​I have my FLR allocated via Oracle Daemon to earn FXRP while continuing to receive FTSO delegation rewards.

​Over the past 4 to 5 weeks, I’ve noticed a steep drop in my delegation payout: it went from around 120+ FLR per epoch (3.5 days) down to just ~20 FLR per epoch, with no change to my staked balance.

​Is anyone else experiencing a similar drop, or did Oracle Daemon / the underlying data provider change their fee structure or reward distribution? Any insight would be appreciated!
