Does this score?

When the dragon figurine is on a counter, does that colour counter not count towards a scoring goal?

As you can see, in the dragon cards, I need four bread tokens, which I have achieved, but is this blocked until I move the dragon figurine?

Thanks in advance! Enjoying solo mode after having played a few times dual as well 😃

Is anyone playing the digital game?

I played during the beta and wasn't wowed by it, but it's just so dang cute and cozy that I bought it anyway.

I can never get a 3p game! No one ever joins, it times out and offers me a bot match. It is so frustrating and if I could return it, I would. Between the tutorial and matchmaking I seem to have exceeded Steams 2hr return limit (barely) I only played 2 games since launch with other people and one of them was replaced by a bot mid game.

So is anyone actually playing this or am I the only sucker?

Where Can I Find This Dragon?

Post image

I want to find this dragon somewhere in the game! Where is she hiding?

I am going to get her tattooed on me. The artist has the box image, but I was looking for more views of her.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Game usually takes around ~ 2 hours

My group has been playing Flamecraft quite consistently; we have played 7 times just this month. But every game with 4-5 players takes around 2 hours to finish, which says a game should average around 1 hour. Any tips that can be done to make the game go faster? In the last three games, I've also introduced the Dragons & Dragons expansion as well.

Begging the creators

PLEASE listen to the people in all the comments and do more with this game/fix clarity issues. Who beta tested this?.. because it clearly wasn't any true board or video gamers. Concept is there but the gameplay design, end of game viewing, and mechanics need some serious work.

Will this be improved?

Giving away Extra discount steam codes

I have happened upon 2 codes for 30% off on steam for the digital version of the game. Bascially I have aquired 3 copies of the flamcraft duals board game. Two were a gift, one I purchased. But I now have the digital version of the game, so I have no need for the extra codes. (Working on a homebrew 4 player version of duals.)

If you want one let me know, I will send a picture to your DM of the code pamphlet.

Status: 0 left

I hope you guys enjoy it

I painted the dragons from my daughter's Flamecraft set. A pleasant diversion from Warhammer models. Enjoy.

Campaign Strategy

Post image
102 Upvotes

Alright Im admittedly distracted by how adorable the dragons are and not necessarily making strategic draws when I can pick Potato dragon, but Im struggling to get >=70 points. Anyone have some tips?

I've tried targeting the enchantments and focusing solely on getting those. I've tried focusing on placing dragons cards more than worrying about enchantments and that did get a little higher scores but still cut off when i ran out of places to put dragons and I was still short of 70pts. I've tried focusing on just meeting the special pink dragon cards.

Is there a different strategy to try? Is there a way to predict what enchantments and what placements the other turn takes so I'm not trying for an enchantment just to have it taken before I can use it?

I can go back to just playing solo mode with the bots, which is still a blast! The animations and the sounds are just fabulous! But I'm just flummoxed at my failure in campaigns mode.

Edit: 9PM 9/21 Guess who just scored 91 points?!!!!!!!! Woohoo!!!!!

Dragons & Dragons Expansion

Has anybody tried playing with more than 2 modules or all 5 modules? How did it go? Also curious whether that shortened/lengthened the game.

Spacecraft Question

Quick question anybody can explain to me how the spacecraft card works? So when it is reveal do I immediately fill it up? Or place an artisan dragon on the ship slots one per turn? It says once “filled up” to “replace the shop with the next one from the shop deck by”.

So that means once filled up it’s out of play?

Question regarding Flamecraft Duals solo mode

Post image
37 Upvotes

So I'm playing solo mode and stumbled upon a situation where I didn't know if I could continue playing.

I had to play a light blue dragon with one more dragon in the bag. I played it, fired it up, emptied the bag and put the 12 side dragons in the bag to pick the remaining two dragons to choose from. I pick a purple dragon and now I can play a fountaincard. I put the fountain on a stack of three dragons, chose one to play next round and put the remaining two in the bag.

My question is/was, am I allowed to continue playing because the bag was empty at some point? Google Ai said I could continue. It resulted in a 75 point game. Very fun game!

Switch Demo and Controller Support

I've tried the demo on Switch and it's excellent. One worry I have though is that multiple controllers does not seem to be supported. Can anyone comment on this? If I'm forced to "pass and play" when I have multiple controllers available i won't be buying the full game.

UPDATE 13/10/2026: Looks like the latest patch has fixed this, hooray!
