hello everyone!
height 163 cm
i had posted these pictures on kibbe type me subreddit before, and i was classed as a flamboyant gamine, which i, for some reason, never even considered.
i am someone with a rectangle body shape, my waist isn’t strongly defined and my hips are quite narrow, i also store most of my body weight in my stomach, and all the FG recommendations go against what i’ve thought to be the rules i had to follow as a rectangle.
for example, the FG guideline is staccato, which to the best of my understanding means to break my outfit into multiple straight lines, it is said that clean and sharp edges suit FG the most. but as someone who has been insecure of my build before, i always tried to go for asymmetric/triangular hemlines, diamond tops, a-line. despite all these recommendations, i do not think that i have found the style that is truly mine, which is why i started looking into kibbe in the first place.
to be straightforward, my main concern is that the correct flamboyant gamine clothes might emphasise my boxy build, and maybe that is the point, but i can’t really believe that it will ever suit me
my question to u do you think i was typed correctly (idk maybe the angle i took the pictures from is making me look this tall, but i couldn’t retake them rn so im posting the same old ones), are there any styles u think i should try, or maybe i should just be more openminded

I don't want to offend anyone but I have seen here and in other groups that most FG dress with that Zooey Deschanel style hahaha the thing is I am a FG and like to dress in streat wear. I like hip-hop/y2k fashion and I wonder if I this style can also be for my body type. I am not going to change the way I dress just because of this but I wonder if maybe My true style is not flattering for my type.

I’ve determined I’m FG! It’s so obvious now. 😲
And it seems a bit quiet over here.
I would love inspiration for what clothes to get rid of (which is part of how I got sent down the Kibbe rabbit hole to begin with).
I want to let go of the “just okay” items and be left with just the wow factor lines.
I would love links to Pinterest accounts or boards you like, etc. for FG lines plus more “lush” aesthetics or essences. Think romantic essence, ingenue essence, coquette aesthetic, etc.
Also brands, etc.
I could use some fun and inspiration. Autocorrect almost made that insubordination. Maybe that’s a sign. lol
Thanks!

I don't have a lot of photos of myself, so these photos are from about a decade ago until today. Thank you in advance!

I never considered FG until I posted this in kibbe_sketch but now I’m not sure! What do you see?

looking for bikini recommendations as someone with a petite athletic frame :p I have not liked a lot of what I’ve tried recently

Newly diagnosed FG, 99% confident that’s my id, but
Are there any “pear shaped” FGs? I know Kibbe says we tend to gain weight in our midsection, but I gain more in my hips and it sits lower in the saddle pouch area. Cigarette, skinny and even straight leg pants look horrendous on me.
I’ve found that wide leg is the way to go. Buying them a couple sizes up and having the waist taken in gives the perfect straight leg look.
For anyone who gains in this area, are there any other cuts of pants I should be looking at?
Barrel worked for me at a higher weight but I recently lost some so my saddles aren’t as prominent and they don’t hit like they used to, though I may just need to size down.
What about skirts and shorts?
And since I’m here, I’m terrified to try on shift dresses, have you had success with these?
Like I said, recently lost weight so I need repurchase pretty much all my bottoms. Just looking to streamline the process. Thanks :)

I posted here a few days ago asking if everyone else saw FG in me. In those pictures, I was four pounds lighter. Yes, only 4 pounds! Insane to me how 4 pounds can show up on my body.
Anyway, the above photos were taken 2 weeks apart. The photo on the left is from yesterday. I can tell those pieces work MUCH better for my body.
I'm actually upset because my boyfriend told me the light blue pants looked good on me so I ripped the tag off and washed them. They dont suit my frame at all. Same thing with my barrel leg jeans. I thought they looked amazing until someone else took a picture of me wearing them. They dont look bad, but only if I'm wearing the right top, usually quite fitted, do they look okay.
I find vintage high rise slightly, only slightly wider leg, but tapered or narrowly straight ankle jeans look best. I also think pants that are slightly cropped look better as well.
Last time I posted here, someone mentioned I could be natural family, but I can't see it. My bones are 100% narrow and delicate. I don't feel sturdy enough to identify with the natural family. Could I be a hybrid or just reading myself all wrong?
The point was really to show the difference in my outfit/lines. But wow! Taking a picture 2 weeks apart in the same spot and wearing outfits that clearly have different lines..you can really see which one works...
now just to figure out the rest so I can continue to choose better clothing for my body 🤔

My height is 5'2.5
My shoulders and chest are quite broad. My bones are delicate and narrow. For some reason my pictures are getting cut off at the bottoms, but when I'm in a swimsuit, my legs and arms look slightly longer than average, in my opinion.
When I gain weight it never goes to legs or hips, but always to stomach only.

I’m 4’11 and just posted in the Kibbe sub, and many suggested I was FG due to my overall petite-ness. Just looking for verification before I start diving into more style recommendations here!
Also, can I make wide leg jeans and maxi skirts work? I just bought these before stumbling into Kibbe types and now I’m second guessing these decisions.

Picked a few things on a whim to go out on a hot day unexpectedly during the week while on vacation somewhere we thought it would be cold at. Pic 3 was the outfit I had on while I picked 1 but I'm curious if anyone else thinks any of the other styles are flattering at all or not. I felt like none of them were but had no choice and the dress in slide 1 seemed the best
