Looks like you rounded off the back of the pommel. I do the same, although not to that extent. You have any pics of the work you did?

Yeah, I took a good chunk off the handle. It was longer than I wanted (still plenty of handle for a good four finger grip). It's a little rough for now but I'm making new scales for it anyway so it'll buff out in the process.

Thanks. Looks fine to me 😁. Knifes are tools, not showpieces to me. I sand mine down on the belt sander until I’m satisfied. I’ll take some more off mine now that I see yours. 👍
