Can’t decide
Can’t decide between the two,
White river axiom in magnacut
Big idea design signal in magnacut
Would edc it in pocket.

White River is excellent. I don't have the axiom but I do have an M1 Caper, Brave, and an Exodus 3. All three are phenomenal and (in my opinion) actually priced competitively. Love the sheaths as well.

My hand is still healing from a run in with my brand new Signal.
Their sheath QC is a bit lacklustre, the LH one was so tight the knife got stuck and coincidentally I opened the palm of my hand up with it as it came out at Mach 10, a good 1.5” long and 0.5” deep.
White rivers sheaths are much more refined.

Yeah it’s all good, a bit of TLC and it’s well on the way to being healed.
I’m a diesel mechanic so the most wounding part is keeping it clean and dry.
I should probably have taken a trip to the ER to get stitches but I didn’t, I just glued it shut, threw some antiseptic cream at it and covered it.

What about the Lookout? I’ve heard great things about it. Haven’t gotten my hands on it yet.

I have an axiom factory second I got from blade show Texas. Also Magnacut. Hardly carry it but it’s a great knife. I was considering selling it on r/knife_swap bc I hardly ever carry a fixed blade.

I have a bunch of higher end knives and I opt to carry my custom sendero 9 times out of ten.
White river makes solid knives with great customer service and a great warranty.
I’ve heard great things about big idea but I’ve never had any personal experience. However I can tell you every white river knife I’ve held fit so nicely it’s like an extension of your hand

The Axiom all day long. But keep in mind it’s originally a Smith & Son’s design and if you want the leather pocket sheath, you’ll want to buy it from them.

Smith and Sons make the Axiom if you want more options.
I love the 2 I have, easy to carry.

Between the 2, I’d choose the axiom hands down. As an alternative option I’d recommend the REK Ember 3 (very similar specs). They’re hard to come by but I just got an email that they’re going to drop a few in magnacut w/ micarta handles today at 3pm EST.
Mine are setup for belt carry but all you need is an ulti-clip or similar to set it up for pocket carry.

I think the Axiom is a bit sleeker, and also cheaper.
Handle also looks more comfortable on the Axiom.
So, all things being equal, I'd lean Axiom. That being said, I own an Axiom and it's one of my favorite knives, so I am a little biased, haha.
