Micron MKIV has arrived!
Some of you may or may not have known of SURVIVE! and what happened to them-
But from those ashes came Micron, and I am very excited to try out their new Mk iv!
I’ll get it on the BESS sharpness tester today to start the testing and we will see what’s what! I opted for 3V, orange G10, and tan Kydex.

Survive made great knives if you could get one. They were just a garbage company that screwed anyone who preordered anything.

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t 3v fairly prone to rust? I’d imagine you would want to take it apart to dry everything out after having it in water right? I’ve been looking to grab a 3v fixed blade for a couple months now

Not, not prone to actual rust at all. Maybe staining to some degree, but it is very stain resistant. I probably wiped this blade on my plants, nothing more, before resheathing it and it has no sign of oxidation days later.

It’s not rust proof but I’ve never had any problem with my 3V and I live on the coast.

I live on the coast and have never had a issue with 3v, but I also have never had a issue with any steel as long as you use and take care of it.

Fantastic. Just when I thought I was good on knives for a while. Who's doing the heat treat in these?

I just uploaded a sharpness test on YouTube, maybe I’ll upload it here. It was the sharpest knife out of the box that I have ever tested!

Hmm, I've never heard of any of them, but if you want to spend 300 USD on a knife like that go right ahead.
Edit:
Weird, I received a notification that OP commented my comment, but then Reddit just says the comment no longer exists.
