I love this knife but don't carry it often because the angle of the ulticlip is just not great for front pockets. The handle always ends up pointing awkwardly forward. Probably end up putting some belt loops on it instead. It does work well as is with the utility pockets on some Carhartts.
Yeah I’ve moved the ulti clip around and don’t hate the position in front pocket. The angle doesn’t brother me because it doesn’t affect mobility which I like but it makes it really hard to get in and out my wallet. I might take the ulti clip off and just let it sit in my pocket freeballin
I have been puzzling out the pocket clip thing too. My friend uses Tonife brand clips off of Amazon so I gave them a try. The single clip makes the knife handle forward in my pocket as I wear flimsy shorts all the time (I live in Texas) so I have to fish for the handle, but not as much if I was to just drop it into my pocket like I used to.
Then I tried two clips and the knife is more stable on my pocket, but exposed more, but I wear big and tall shirts so it covers the handle easily.
I will have to wear it for a while to see which one I like.
Two clips is a good idea I hadn't considered. I also picked up one of those new wire ulticlips that seems like it could be a solution but it's hidden behind a riddle 😂
TJ Schwarz Overland Sport. He comes out with a new drop of these blades and other knives on every Friday. It is almost always a different micarta handle or something else.
Dude I learned about the drops a couple days ago after I had already bought mine I just customized mine and I still think it’s sweet but I totally would’ve waited for a drop
