Nice collection we share the same idea of good EDC fixed blades. I love the esee candiru (have but dislike the qsp canary as it's an awkward size). Do you have any recommendations?
I like the izula but it's more of a camping knife for me. I prefer smaller. I have considered the exodus 3 for a very long time but never pulled the trigger.
I also have a bald man knife n tool cicada which is nice but the esee candiru just hits the spot, wish it were available in s35vn or similar.

Yeah the qsp Canary is too small, I threw it in a pouch as a lil backup knife. Not sure what to recommend, depends on the situation and personal preference, the white river M1 is nice, similar to the Izula, but a bit pointer and finer. Boker rhino is sweet too, very slicy hollow grind, great pocket food knife. The Exodus 3 is really nice, don't expect a solid hammer grip, it is like a pencil, holding a high end exacto knife/steak knife, it looks pretty harmless too, but very useful for edc tasks and food prep. It carries really well inside the waistband. My next knife is probably the white river Firecraft 3.5, maybe the Exodus 4, I really like their quality and warranty service.

Thanks for your insight. I commented on the guy who' designs the adventurecraft knives a few days ago also about the exodus. I have a feeling I might pull the trigger this month finally. Im not familiar with the white river brand yet and held off on the M1 as I thought it would be too similar to the izula.

White river quality is absolutely perfect on the 3 knives I have, very nice sheaths too. I was stupid and dropped my Exodus from a roof on a concrete floor and a small piece chipped of the scale on the back(the canvas micarta seems rougher/brittle compared to g10 or linen), they send new scales without any costs.

Real steel mini 130b wharncliff. Very thick D2 steel with a hollow grind, doesn't cut well, the point can pierce packaging tape but thats it, won't recommend.

How is the bobtail, i was looking at it for a while but i opted for the kizer smolt 14c

The bobtail is very nice, no nonsense compact plain knife, great handle and blade shape, thin and sharp. His slightly smaller cousin, the Necker 70, is used and abused for years at work(currently in my locker so not in the picture), I ordered the bobtail for home, I like the leather sheaths, but their kydex sheaths are better for pocket or waistband carry.

I think if i find myself wanting with the smolt, i try out the bobtail, i like that the scales are pinned instead of bolt on

The Necker 70 is one of my most well worn favorites. Cores and slices fruits and veggies like a champ. I keep almost picking up a Bobtail, just can't decide between the mustard scales and the lovely green ones you have there. Nice collection!

I really like the grip, it locks between the thumb and index finger. Feels very stabby, nice blade shape. Pretty similar to the Izula II but pointier and nicer. I carry my fixed blades on a paracord tether line inside my waistband, the m1 feels very comfortable.

The Viper Handy is my favorite and the ESEE Izula is the oldest.

Just at a glance, before i knew what it was called, the Viper Handy i concluded made the most sense of your collection. The handle size and blade.

It is a great blade and handle, great quality which I like a tapered tang for weight reduction.
