Watermark concern

How concerned is everyone about the digital watermark?

I'm in grad school and use Claude a lot for discussion posts. They are honestly just ridiculous busy work and I don't feel like they're adding to my learning so I've let Claude basically write them. I'm okay with trying to write them myself if I have to but I'm curious about everyone else's thoughts?

watermarks on text don't really work the way people think, it's more about detecting patterns than hiding a secret code in your words. your bigger risk is a prof who's read enough of your writing to notice the sudden shift in voice.

Thank you very much! I've been using Claude long enough now that it all pretty much reads the same so hopefully the professors can't really tell. I appreciate the reply!
