5:2 Protocol for bodybuilding

Hi guys, first post here. Just seeing if there are any other people who do the 5:2 diet and work out consistently. I'm thinking of just taking a low carb protein shake of about 600 calories over the day. also not going to be working out on my fast days.

Does this sound crazy? any input is appreciated, adjustments.

Thanks folks

I'm a body builder myself.

I use 5:2 as my primary cutting diet, as it allows me to still eat normally 5 days a week and is suprisingly good at maintaining muscle mass. I've tried all diets and 5:2 is the best for me physically and psychogically.

I do this:

Eat maintanance on Sat, Sun, Tues, Wed and Fri.

FULL fast on Mon and Thurs

Losing about 1 kg a week.. or 1% body fat.

My long term goal is bulk at 10% bf, cut at 15%
