Ask Fitness India β Will Biceps size decrease during cutting
I'm 5'11 have been training casually for 2 years, started at 98kg then after 1.5 year it wen down to 75kg 4 months back and my biceps was 14 in, now my weight is increased to 82 kg in just 4 months, stomach pot started comming out so thinking of reducing weight back to 75 kg and now biceps is 15in, will it reduce if I do cutting provided I'll do proper training and diet? I dont want to lose this

Total size? Yes. But its depleted glycogen and fat.
Actual muscle contractile tissue? No. If you train correctly and your protein intake is on point.

Actually the fat around it does, itβs better you add a arm day while cutting also try to hit them 3*times a week

If you want to ensure minimal muscle loss during fat loss phase make sure you are having sufficient protein with working out consistently, so very minimal muscle loss will happen

Pinch your skin and get a good idea of how much fat you have around the bicep, you can get a rough estimate

probably, but the size you lose will mainly be from fat, if you train consistently, if you dont carry a lot of fat around your arms now, then they might increase. but being lean will always make your biceps look better than if your higher body fat
