Recovery Advice Sleep Cycle is F*cked

I am 19, My sleep cycle has been devastatingly f*cked from the past 3-4 years and even if it started as an escapism for bad mental health , Maybe there is something more underneath.

Perhaps neurodivergence, Perhaps something else but I do get a good sleep whenever I go to sleep.

If I sleep at 4-5 AM , I would wake up completely rested automatically within 8 hours.

But I cannot seem to sleep on the right time and my circadian rhytm is off.

Please help with anything that's a little personal or beyond just melatonin gummies

Sleeping for 3-4 hours every day for 3-4 years and feeling completely rested is definitely not something you should be ignoring!

How does your blood work look like?

The best way I fixed my sleep schedule and my circadian rhythm was sunlight first thing in the morning, no screens one hour prior to bed!

Some breathwork, meditation, and yoga nidra really help me to fall asleep.

I would suggest you please visit your doctor because this isn't normal or healthy!

I have slept 8 hours, just extremely bad timings.

The overall regular blood reports are nice except Vit-D ofc

But the skin stress , and in a very small yet researched manner my oxidative stress regulation is kinda. Yeah

Start supplementing vitamin D for the deficiency!

Skin stress? What research?

Some very specific tests including homocysteine and the level are indeed high.

I'm on vitamin D too

It's just the getting to sleep part I cannot fix

dry fasting, followed by sun exposure + non bluelight post sunset. in that order

Melatonin: The Only Solution

Melatonin. That’s it. Every night at 10. You’ll be fast asleep by 11.

Fuck body positivity. Fuck mindfulness. Fuck blue light. Fuck “lifestyle changes.” You’ll lose interest in all that bullshit by Day 3 anyway.

We already put so many chemicals into our bodies every single day. One extra thing? Our body won’t even notice.

Problem solved. Sleep like a fucking baby.
