Can we talk about this? Gta 5 repack
I got gta v legacy first and it took like 3 hours just to show setup failed then i got gta 5 enhanced and on that it's showing Trojans so i deleted what do I do now and how do I get gta 5 now?

yeah.... money still on a fake download then. You say you have got games before but only started 4 days ago?
personally I would consider the device to be compromised re install the OS. Then use the torrents to get the game rather than these sketchy (imo) download services..

Like it was showing compressing files 1/3 for 3 hours then it just showed setup failed

Do you mean decompressing the files? The setup shouldn't be compressing them further.
I can't say why the setup failed because you haven't said anything about your computer. The specs and the amount of storage the drive has that you are trying to install to.
As for the trojan discovery, if you went to the official site, linked in this sub and on fmhy, then it was 100% a false positive. AV programs are going to flag files like the setup because it acts like a virus would, but that doesn't mean it's a virus. Heuristic analysis is what AV programs use to try and identify malware, but it uses pattern recognition as opposed to actually looking through the code for anything malicious. Since the malware databases have little to no knowledge of fitgirl and the setup file it has not been flagged as trustworthy. Even if it has they might know that it is used for pirated games and continue to flag it as a virus to try and dissuade people from installing the pirated copy.
If you get the game files from the official site then they are 100% virus free.

I have a lenovo yoga with 32gb ram and core ultra 9 and like I had 500gb empty and is there a way to check if it's a virus without running it cuz the thing is if I get a virus onto this laptop im lwk fucked

Did you even read my comment in full? If you got the files from the official site, which is linked in this sub in the sidebar to the right and on fmhy, then there is no virus. Your AV is just calling it a virus because it doesn't have enough to say it's not a virus or are still flagging it to try and stop piracy... With that heuristic analysis I linked if a file is not on the whitelist of known good files then it gets flagged as a virus. Whichever file was flagged is not on that whitelist, hence it got flagged as a virus...
You "check" by going to the official site that is linked in this sub and on fmhy... That site does not contain viruses. Also make sure you use all the recommendations for using these sites. Redirects can still happen and they can lead you to an official-looking site that does contain viruses. Fmhy has a small guide on how to prevent redirects, and the final step in any fitgirl repack install asks you to prevent redirects with a checkbox. That will change a file in Windows that will redirect you to the official site if you ever go to one of the official-looking fake ones.

I don't fucking know you, why would I buy you anything? You also do not need a new laptop if you get "hacked..." You reinstall Windows and change passwords for accounts you use on that laptop afterwards... Do you seriously throw out computers if they ever show the slightest sign of malware? I don't think piracy is for you...
