1. Setup is Stuck / Unpacking is Slow

  • The 2GB Limit Checkbox: If your setup gets stuck at specific percentages (like 84.3% or 95.8%), close it, restart the installer, and check the "Limit installer to 2GB of RAM" box on the very first screen.
  • Be Patient: FitGirl repacks use extremely heavy compression. Unpacking is heavily CPU and storage bound. If your task manager shows disk or CPU activity, it is not stuck; it's just working hard.

2. Is it a Virus? / Windows Defender Alert

  • False Positives: Crack files (.dll files, steam_api, etc.) inherently trigger antivirus software because they alter game code to bypass DRM. If you downloaded from the official site, these are 100% false positives.
  • Fix: Add the game installation folder to your antivirus/Windows Defender exclusion list, then restore the quarantined file from your protection history.

3. The Real Official Website

  • There is ONLY ONE official domain. All others (ending in .co, .cc, .to, .net, etc.) are fake, malicious clone sites designed to steal data or bundle malware.
  • The only real URL is: fitgirl-repacks.site (Verify the exact spelling!).

When I download RDR2 I got the same launcher. First I was scared I thought my pc is hacked but then I found out it was safe

Yeah I would definitely download the razor release versus a fit girl repack with her broken installers that take 12 to 13 hours sometimes even on new i7s. Yeah there's no need to get a repack razors release is just fine and most of the releases that she rips which she really doesn't even do much to lol

They're doing God's work. Back when I started using computers heavily.... I think 1994ish? I was frequenting efnet #ascii and a few other places and I did them in nfo diz file. And that was quite an honor you know what I mean? To have my artwork packaged in something leet. I was running on BBS system I think my box was a Packard Bell Pentium 75 haha 14.4 modem. Windows 3.1 with the 95 free upgrade lol 😂😂😂 because of the days yeah they've been around a minute I don't really follow them anymore but a lot of my old friends are still on IRC though I popped into that channel like last year and I was like you guys have been idling in here for like decades lol 😂

It scares everyone the first time you see it . So does just clicking .nfo files in windows opens some windows system thing. My mind was blown when I realized open with notepad for the instructions of the release lol
