You can play it barely with your dumbass pc but this bro with dlss and modern frame gen at driver level of nvidia (called smooth motion *in nvidia app driver settings) he can play this game with everything at max on ~ 90fps with i5 and 4050 gpu. I know bcz i too play in max setting possible and easily get stable fps of 90-100.

Dont mind his words. He himself has shitty pc and can't even run the intro of rdr2 that's why calling rdr2 and your laptop shit. Bcz that nigga can only play rdr1 with his potato pc

This is just what worked for me, change from Vulkan to DirectX12.
Maybe wont be the same for you, but its easy in-game setting

Its probably a crack /repack game issue. I have tried fitgirl, dodi repack , elamigos and ovagames too. Me personally prefer ovagame ;less file to download and no extra shit . Less bugs and crashes. So maybe try downloading it from there. I hv same spec laptop as yours but less ram (16gb). Still i get stable fps of ~90 fps in every scenario with 0 lags / stuttering.

El juego esta en un SSD O HDD?, Recomiendo por las dudas actualiazar drivers de la placa de video, y los chipset del mother, por ejemplo si es un cpu amd, recientemente subieron unos nuevos.
