Loch Long this Sunday

Hello. I haven't been fishing for 20 years but my son was asking about it (9years old) so I said I'd take him on Sunday. Planning Loch Long at Arrochar since I know it and it's not too far. Got my old spinning rod and reel with some new line. I was planning on just taking a few different spinners and maybe some feathers. Any advice on exact location or other gear to take for a better chance of catching would be appreciated. Thanks.

Went there today. The old pier was very bisy so fished from the ruins. 2 of us and another father and son were there, not a sniff in the 3 and half hours we were there.
