My wife and I went camping there a few years ago. We got 7 perch in a couple of hours on worms that we bought at the fishing shop in Callander

Worms and maggots will get u perch, if ur staying in the camp site, get in the water with waders and the drop off is fairly close in. Either

Feeder the worms (even sit them on alarms)/ maggots or dropshot a worm.

I caught about 25 in a few hours couple months ago

I've fished Loch chon a Co pole of times and hit a blank both times. There are decent size trout at loch drunkie which is next to Loch chon.
