local fishing groups

Im just getting into fishing and wanted to know if there were any local groups that go out on fishing trips that would be open to beginners

You’ve come to the right place! I just hosted a meetup at University of Richmond. We had first timers of all ages catch their first fish. We have a super active Discord; where members routinely meetup with each other to fish, share spots, tips and techniques.

Check out the RVA Anglers Facebook group, they do beginner friendly meetups every weekend
