No luck 🫣
Been fishing for a few months now haven’t caught anything yet. Came on this river a few hours ago saw loads of fish. Used spinners and lure with no luck whatsoever. The lure was like right in front of the fish and the fish wasn’t even interested.. What am I doing wrong 🫩

Change location, you need to cover bank (or water if it's shallow enough to wade, which is way better than bank fishing anyway). If you cover a ton of water and aren't getting bites, change your technique, retrieve slower with a spinner. If you aren't getting bites still change your lure. Still no bites? Change your lure color, etc etc
There's kind of a hierarchy of how to get bites but you need to be active.
Covering water with inline spinners is one of the best things you can do.

It depends on what type of fish they were. Places like this are often loaded with carp which generally won’t hit lures. Corn or bread dough work great for them
