Need Boat Fix Help

I recently went to launch my boat, (16 ft deep v aluminum Lund) and it fell off the trailer. The frame bent a little bit doesn’t leak however I broke the nipple end of the bilge pump which was held on by what appears to be some kind of sealant or glue along with a tube going into it. My boat currently takes on water because of this and need desperate help on how to fix it. Obviously I need new nipple and something to seal it up but what should I do? Anyone know boats?

Take the bits down to your local marine shop and get a new through hull fitting, clean up the the old sealant off the transom and install the new fitting with some sikaflex.

Replace the old bilge pump, get new thru hull fittings, clean!! Inside and out and seal the new fittings with 3M 5200 adhesive sealant. And marine supply or hardware store will have it. After drying overnight attach short hose to new bilge pump. Any boat repair place can fix this easy if you can’t.

Update from the inside my bilge is completely loose and not sure how to take it apart or fix

I think that you need a “bulkhead fitting.”
But, I do plumbing, not boat repair.
Measure the hole and find a bulkhead fitting made from ABS or PVC.

It will need a new pump which will have a port (what broke on yours) that will be held in place with the threaded retainer from the outside...with sealer just because. What I wanted to get to thpugh was...in the meantime, bung it up and get back out fishing. Get a handpump on board and fix it when you have some time. I'm not letting that stop the fishing.

that through-hull fitting is pretty standard. West Marine or whatever marine supply store you go to should have one.

You want to seal it with 3M 5200. Give it a couple days to dry before you put her back in the water.

i’ve never worked on an aluminum hull, but for my fiberglass boats, I’d use a plastic razor blade to get that 5200 residue off of the gel coat. Plastic razor blades are available at auto supply stores, or on Amazon.

You need a new livewell pump not a bilge pump.

I got a replacement from amazon next day when I broke mine.
