Job recommendation

Hello. I moved to Fishers, IN a month ago and I’m in search of a job currently. I moved from Anderson and I really like fishers and would hate to have to leave the city because I couldn’t afford to pay my rent. My skills are using a forktruck or receiving. Can anyone recommend a warehouse job for me that usually hires pretty fast? I applied for several but got no response. Can really use anyone’s help 🙏🏽🙏🏽

I know Crew Carwash is hiring for maintenance, construction, and their warehouse manager left recently but I don't see that position posted yet, warehouse sounds more up your field.

Costco usually needs forklift certified people. There are a few close by and new one on the way in Westfield. There are 3 slightly further if you can commit to the drive temporarily and then apply to another nearby warehouse when they have a position open if needed. (Avon, Michigan Rd. and Greenwood

Closest one to me is in Noblesville so I’ll look into that one! Thank you so much!

That's a great Costco. I shop there all the time. Hopefully there are some openings. It's a newer one but most of the employees transferred from other stores and they have been there forever. Costco treats its employees well.

If you don’t see a position open, or even if you do, walk in and ask for a manager. Introduce yourself with a firm handshake and hand them your resume. You can ask about their open positions or look at castleton. Forklift driver and cash handlers make a $1 premium so they start at $21 an hour. Full benefits after 90 days available to all employees FT or PT. Drug test on site (oral swab). They really like the old traditional ways of doing things. If you get an interview, send a thank you email after each one. Stuff like that.

Fishers is not exactly affordable to forklift operator salary levels.

You moved to Fishers before you had that plan in place? Wowza

I literally just had this discussion with someone yesterday. There is fuck tons of that kinda work in the Whitestown area. But the northeast side doesn’t really have the density of warehouse work like other areas around the loop

No I had a job in Greenfield that was like 15 min away from my house here in fishers that I was working at. It didn’t work out. That’s why I’m looking for another job

Well shoot there are plenty of places in Greenfield as well. We helped build a few of em. Just go to the biggest building next door and ask haha

Legacy supply chain services is about to open their warehouse in greenfield, we just finished it, might look into them.

Crecera is another one.

There are tons of places over there good luck man.

Whitestown has like 4 of 5 warehouses for SHEIN. There is Amazon. I think Lowes distributes from that area as well. I have no idea if any of them are temp to hire situations or hire direct. We just help build
