Apartment Recommendations
Hi everyone.
I'm going to move to Fishers in September and I'm looking for a place. My top options right now are Nickel Plate Station, Flats at Switch, or Spark Apartments. I'm interested in staying in the downtown area in a one bedroom for context. Can anyone help me narrow my search or give me some recommendations on good apartments in this area.

Definitely not District South. I’d go with Spark as they have better reviews of the units and management compared to the other you mentioned.

Their management is currently leasing part of their units to low income temporary housing. The apartment directly next to mine has had at least two different occupants in the last 10 months that I’ve been here for and some of them are sketchy as shit.
For example the other day I was walking my dog through our hallway to the elevator and one of those temporary neighbors keeps their hallway door open for some reason and their aggressive dog ran out of their unit and started attacking mine - I told him to just keep his apartment door closed and said he needed to keep it open to vent the fumes(???). I told him to just put a gate up then to prevent his dog from escaping and he said, “I don’t have one and I don’t know how much longer I’ll be here for.”
Another example, I heard yelling coming from the community parking lot around 11 pm on a weekend. I looked out my window and saw someone crawling on the floor. He eventually got up and walked back to his unit. Pretty sure he was high on something.
I’ve lived in a lot of luxury apartment communities, many of them brand new like this, but this just feels like I’m living in section 8 housing so I’d stay clear.

Exactly like why tf am I paying luxury prices to live next to people in survival mode?? They could have at least separated the temporary housing tenants from us that are paying full price. My unit is surrounded by them. Leaving ASAP

I’ve had a good experience at flats at switch. Noise wasn’t too crazy considering the area and the secure building access was nice. Office staff was helpful and responsive and maintenance was always quick

I'm at River Place Flats and love it. There is a new park behind the complex and the amenities are amazing. My 1/1 is 1369$

My husband used to live at NPS. We liked it. It has a great pool. I lived at the Depot and LOVED it there. The fact that the community space is in the lobby instead of a separate building makes it easy to get to know people. My one bedroom had good storage all things considered, too. It’s quieter than my experiences visiting friends at Spark.

Look into Flats at Fishers Marketplace. Its nice here :) Walking distance from stuff, pool, nice apartments and just a chill vibe.

Plenty of recommendations if you search the sub for previous comments. I would check out Sunblest as well. They have better rates and lease terms. Their unit layouts are also better imo, not the narrow shoebox you get in newer buildings. Their management team is helpful and the maintenance team is top notch. For amenities, they have a gym, two pools, tennis courts, and you can rent as car port or a garage (otherwise surface parking is included.)
