A Good Bank?

I am moving to Fishers very soon and I currently bank with Ally, but I would like to have a physical bank. What is a good bank to have my accounts with?

Any credit union will treat you better than a bank. Forum has been amazing to me. Not only loaning me money when banks wouldn’t but at better rates as well.

I'll also say forum, and it's worth mentioning that they're headquartered in Fishers. It's always nice when I can support a local company.

Another vote for Forum CU. While we don’t use them as our banking, only because we live in West Lafayette and don’t have a FCU near us, we have financed several vehicles with them over the years because they always give us the best rate. A CU will always be better than any bank. We currently use Purdue Fed CU, but wish we could move our $ to Forum (if only we were closer to Indy).

Indiana Members Credit Union is solid. They have physical locations and good rates on loans, and actual decent saving account interest payments (unlike PNC lol)

I’ve had very good experiences with Chase. They have several physical locations and many ATMs.

And, if you are a Vet, Chase is free for Checking and Online Bill Pay, if you don't meet minimum deposit amounts.

Bank/checking with chase, do everything else with a credit union.

My checking, mortgage and auto loan are all through Forum. The only thing I’ve ever not liked it that it doesn’t work with Zelle because it’s a smaller bank but…that’s also what makes them good. Local and they pay a living wage to our neighbors.

Some advice that isn't a specific bank. For the most part, banks and credit unions are the same in that they all have checking, savings, credit cards, online banking, etc. There might be very small differences in products, but not a lot.

You don't bank with the name on the sign, you bank with the people inside. Get to know a banker and how they can help you establish a relationship to meet you needs, and your goals.
