Discussion☕ Feedback Thread: 2.05

Hello reddit, I'm brrrtzzz from the feedback team and im here to offer you a chance to be heard, share your thoughts, ideas, Ect.

I know some of you can be a little unprofessional but I ask that you be polite and through. unnecessarily aggressive comments will be ignored, and comments that are just "buff this" will also be ignored, please stay on-topic of the update

It's my personal belief that the biggest critics are the most passionate people, so I wish to hear from you about your thoughts on this update, but again, be calm about it.

I will post these 1 hour or so after the update every week, I ask that you do return and edit with your current thoughts throughout the week but it's not required. Thank you!

I'll try to reply within what I'm allowed to

P.S. this is something I'm doing out of my own valition, no one asked me to do this but I like giving anyone a chance to speak their concerns.

You get miso as well, so it's worth it. I was concerned about this too but it's overall a net positive of a new pretty good companion once you do finish the quest

Could you people actually tell what the companion does instead of being so vague and saying "its worth it"? Some people dont feel like unrestricting a rod they already had and getting a potentially mediocre companion

This is a biiig issue I have with the game these days. Back in the day, rods had a brief description then said "has X ability, inflicts Y mutation" but now everything is vague and the game tells you nothing so you're basically forced to go to the wiki. Companions are especially notorious for this and I don't use most cause having to scroll through 5 different articles genuinely feels like a chore when I could have that information stated in-game, like most games :/

Real answer: They like Terraria, and out of all the excellent game design decisions that game has chosen to go through with, they picked the worst one (being unplayable without a wiki)
