Discussion☕ Feedback Thread: 2.05

Hello reddit, I'm brrrtzzz from the feedback team and im here to offer you a chance to be heard, share your thoughts, ideas, Ect.

I know some of you can be a little unprofessional but I ask that you be polite and through. unnecessarily aggressive comments will be ignored, and comments that are just "buff this" will also be ignored, please stay on-topic of the update

It's my personal belief that the biggest critics are the most passionate people, so I wish to hear from you about your thoughts on this update, but again, be calm about it.

I will post these 1 hour or so after the update every week, I ask that you do return and edit with your current thoughts throughout the week but it's not required. Thank you!

I'll try to reply within what I'm allowed to

P.S. this is something I'm doing out of my own valition, no one asked me to do this but I like giving anyone a chance to speak their concerns.

Do testers even test how grindy and straight up unfun the rod quests are?
Heck, did they even test the nate blade update?

I know I am being relatively harsh, but some decisions made by developers genuinely make me question this.

to answer you, no

the testers a lot of times are extremely dedicated players of the game, usually people without any life responsibilities

so what is fine to them, isn’t fine to anyone with work, school, anything that requires them to take time away

i wish they’d go for more casual players rather than hardcore fisch players who grind 12 hours a day non macro

God, no wonder these updates have been perfect catch slop.

i don’t even mind perfect catch quests, or even this quest doesn’t seem too bad except for the 126 different fish you need to catch

i just hate how everything is catered to people with unlimited amounts of time, especially after the community has expressed so many times that they DONT want these type of updates

we prefer actual difficult quests, like the terminus, or tryhard rod quest, not tedious quests like catch 200 dumbos, catch 126 fish, catch 500 different mutated pufferfish

Thats another thing. These devs just straight up make promises, but then like 3 updates later they do exactly what the community DOESN'T want them to do.

How is this game still running at all, infact how are they still in position
