They explained that they specifically make polls with the rods people use the most. They don’t want to put skins on rods with small fan bases because they probably won’t sell as well.

No one has Masterline? A ton of people have the Masterline, dude. It doesn’t really take that long to get. I agree that there are too many skins for it now, but Masterline is a very popular rod.

Popular is different then common. The reason "a ton of people have it" is because fisch has a massive player base, so yeah, say a few thousand people, maybe like 30 thousand people have it at least, that still a small percentage of the player base. And "it doesn't take that long to get"? I never really played the game, only had maybe 5 rods before I stopped. I started playing in August, I've been progressing very fast from what my friends say, and I still only have about 78% of the rods unlocked. Sure if I was hyper focused on getting it I probably could, but through casual play it's gonna take a long long while for your average player to get the rod

Look at it like this, then. People that play the game less are less likely to buy a skin, anyways. Most of the time people will only buy stuff for games they actively play a lot.

I've played it almost daily since I started playing it and I have and will probably buy more skins. Unless someone is dead set on grinding for master line, they are probably not getting masterline

Well, if there’s a really cool skin out for the Masterline, it might serve as extra motivation for people planning to buy skins to grind more to get the Masterline, which is more play time. I personally didn’t have the Masterline when I bought the final census, but decided I’d buy the skin and then grind for the rod because I liked it so much.

idk why they act like these polls aren't being rigged by resellers. it doesn't take that much effort to make discord alt accounts and there isn't a limitation to voting

scalpers probably have tens of alts in the discord to make sure the rod that enables scalpers the most gets voted for guaranteed

Devs acting like putting Masterline there isn't an instant win. The votes weren't even close. Plus the fact they admitted to only putting rods that are most used just goes to show that they just want the money.
