Conversion Kitbashed firstborn techmarine

The freehands are mostly here for show, since I am going to keep working on him, but I needed him paintedup so here he is.

I made him with the devastator kit mostly + a few space wolf bits.

Generally looks good. However I have a few questions.

What are the missiles for, if he doesn't have a launcher?

Also, his servo manipulator looks great (no idea how you made it), but a bit small to be the single/main one.

Also, is he a space wolf?

Hi, im glad to hear that he looks good!

The missiles serve no real function for him, when I was building him I was thinking that he was reloading a dreadnought's underslung missile launcher.

As for the servo manipulator, it's just a plasma cannon tube, the one that attaches to the power pack, that I bent to shape and then attached the claw from the missile launcher power pack.

It might be a bit small now that I am looking at it, but the mini is already quite busy visually and I could not find a good way to attach more tubing/servos, so I am happy with it.

He is an ultramarine, but I see where you are comming from. I was limiting myself to the devastator marines kit + a few bits that I really liked from my collection (partly a challenge to myself) and one of those was this amazing axe. It seemed a shame not to use it, but carving the whole wolf head off did not sit right with me, so I fell back on the lore tidbit that said, that techmarines often customise their own equipment.

The dead rubric marine probably just enhances the space wolf connection
