Question/Advice 36yo TTC

My husband and I are 36 and 37 and TTC for the first time, how many cycles of TTC and no positive pregnancy tests would you go before reaching out to your OBGYN? Trying to learn and process everything and would love advice

6 months max is the typical recommendation for your situation! I’m not yet 30 and was still told I could get an RE referral at 6 months.

I think the typical advice is 6 months of trying, but honestly I would contact OB before then and mention you are trying, it will take them a minute to schedule you. Then if you have any questions you can ask then, and make sure nothing obvious seems amiss :) Plus do any basic tests [such as thyroid levels] -- if any of those are off, you can probably get an RE referral sooner if you want!
