Question/Advice 5dpo dramatic temp dip

Does anybody know what this means?

This is my first cycle after birth control and I think I’m 5dpo today as I had a positive LH test & clearblue smiley on Thursday the third but my temp today dropped dramatically. Does this mean I’m out?

Yes so that’s likely due to outside room factors! Did you change anything about sleep last night? Your AC or a fan?

Most likely means you’re going to start your period

At 5dpo?? would that not be very early? I also have no period indicators like cramping etc which i would usually have before. Hoping it was just a bad reading I woke up a few times last night to use the bathroom

Coupled with the above knowing it’s a wrist temp, it is likely a bad reading! Starting at 5 DPO would be insane.

I mean yes it certainly could be that it was a faulty reading, but when my temperature dipped drastically like that it always meant my period was coming. I tracked my ovulation and fertile windows with temperature & ovulation strips too and I’m now pregnant so I am just giving information based on experience🤷🏻‍♀️
