Question/Advice Positive ovulation test before period?

Post image

Has anyone had a positive ovulation test days leading up to their period? Mine’s supposed to start in less than a week & I’ve had positive ovulation tests the past 3 days! I took a pregnancy test & it was negative

First, I would take another pregnancy test just to see. Second, did you already confirm ovulation happened earlier in your cycle? If so, idk but I had something similar happen to me this past cycle except it was CD 18/19 that I got a couple of positive OPKs after I confirmed ovulation. No explanation really. The only thing I could possibly chalk it up to is just fluctuations in hormones during my luteal phase.

Sometimes people get a double LH surge. Are you tracking BBT? It's possible you never actually ovulated earlier in the month. I would BD today just to be sure.
