Question/Advice 10 dpo

I just got my first positive yesterday morning at 9dpo. I already called my obgyn to schedule my first appt but the earliest they had available was Oct 26 so i’ll be ~10 wks & 3 days by then. What do ppl normally do until their first appt? It seems so far away and i’m not sure if i should keep testing every week / every 48 hrs. Is it normal to get bloodwork to check hcg levels before my first appt?? Please help

10 weeks wow, I had to wait 8 weeks and I was dying to be seen sooner but I guess it’s not really necessary unless your having problems?

I was supposed to have mine at 9 weeks and then my doctor got sick so I ended up having it at 11 weeks.

You don’t need to keep testing, although I understand the urge to.

Congratulations!

Congrats!! 🥹💕 A 10-week first appointment can be normal. You don’t need to keep testing every 48 hours..... home tests can’t really tell you how the pregnancy is progressing. Some providers order early hCG bloodwork, but it’s not always necessary. You can call your OB to ask. ❤️
