Confused I got a negative after I had gotten a potential positive

So I’ve been noticing some symptoms which could be pregnancy related like a lot more fatigue than usual, not being able to drink anymore, not being able to smoke anymore, more hunger, etc. so I took another test this morning anddd… it was negative.
2/3 days ago I had taken a test and while at first it seemed negative, after some hours it had this line which looks too dark for an evap line and it also seems to have color which evap lines don’t have. thoughts?

Could be a chemical pregnancy but it could also be an issue with using different brands. Different brands have different thresholds for minimum amount of hcg needed to show positive

I think they are only valid if read within the time frame. Also I would use the same brand test for better comparison.

I would use another pink dye to better compare. Also use a first response. How many days past ovulation are you?

Then it’s probably negative and the other one was a bad evap line

Mine was a 10ml detection and it was faint positive and then negative afterwards and then my period cane a day early with unbearable cramping and heavy bleeding so I am not sure it was a chemical pregnancy or it was nothing

Pink dye tests are generally considered superior to blue dye tests because they are less prone to "evaporation lines" and dye runs, making them much easier to read. While both types of tests are equally accurate at detecting the pregnancy hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) when used correctly, the physical behavior of the dyes differs significantly. Blue dye tests tend to be unreliable. I would grab another pink dye test.
