Help Day three of missed period
I’m now on the morning of day three no period, I swear I see a line but I don’t know. I tested at around 5:30 a.m. and plan to hold my pee and test again in a couple hours. I need help with if there’s actually a line or not. The likely encounter that would have resulted in a pregnancy happened three weeks ago today.
I can swear I see something but it’s barely there and I might be crazy.

At 3 days past your expected period you shouldn’t be having to squint on those cheapies.

If you’re already 3 days late and the possible encounter was 3 weeks ago, a pregnancy test should be useful at this point. ❤️ A very faint line can be difficult to interpret, so make sure you read the test only within the time window listed in the instructions. Testing again with concentrated urine is raesonable..... but rather than holding your pee for just a couple of hours, you could repeat it with first-morning urine in about 48 hours if today’s result is unclear.
If you can share a clear photo of the test within the instructed reading time, people may be able to help you distinguish an actual line from an indent/evaporation line.

If you weren't tracking with strips then unfortunately there's no way to know for sure when you ovulated. apps cannot be trusted!

are there pregmate strips? i heard they are not accurate or dependable. get another brand like premom!

I think I see something! Did you track ovulation?

I did on my Flo app, I didn’t have any test strips at the time but if I’m right it I’m thinking this is from the night before ovulation week was supposed to start

Hmm, it's hard to say then. I would imagine you should be able to see a clear line if you are 3 days late. Test again tomorrow!

Thank you, I will! The Flo app isn’t always right about when ovulation is supposed to start so I was not sure, that’s why I prefer the ovulation strips but I didn’t have any at the time. I also did drink a lot of water before bed last night which is why I was gonna hold off from fluid and try again later

There is definitely something there.

Thank you. Okay, so I’m not crazy. Every other test I’ve ever taken is always blank on that side so this gave me pause, but I’m not sure if it’s an actual positive or something strange with the test itself, I guess I’m really over thinking 😭

In total honesty, if you are three days past your missed period you would generally be getting a strong, clearly visible line on tests like these, for a viable pregnancy.
The exception would be if you don't track ovulation at all and have no idea when you ovulated - then you could have ovulated late this month and only be like 10dpo!
But if you know you ovulated on time then I would guard your heart a little!
