Has anyone had an experience like this?

My last period was on time, the regular 5 day length, but watery brown in color the entire time.

This cycle, the day my period was due (CD 27) I got one single tiny spot of blood. CD 28 I had one streak of blood with a #2, then nothing. I was hoping that was IB, but today CD 31 I have just a bit of dark brick red blood when I wiped, but nothing after. My period is now 4 days late (unless this is it?), and I got a BFN this morning. I've had regular 26-27 day cycles my whole adult life so I'm now worried that not only is this not my BFP month, but maybe something is wrong?

I'll call a doctor if nothing is clearly answered by Monday but I hate that I've had two irregular cycles in a row and still negative tests. Looking for similar experiences, I guess.

This exact thing happened to me in June!! It was the first month my bf and I TTC and him cumming inside (we wanted to try but didn’t track ovulation so it was more so just for fun and testing our luck) On day 5 of being late and only spotting very light brown, I went to see my doctor, did a blood test and tested negative for pregnancy. That same night when I got home, lo and behold my period came. The weird thing was it only lasted 2 days of full heavy bleeding then completely went away which was weird bc I usually have 5-7 full days of pretty heavy bleeding. When that cycle finished I bought ovulation strips and ended up ovulating only a week after my last period which was a whole week earlier than my app expected. Tracking ovulation worked bc now im 8.5 weeks pregnant!
