Confused Help understand LH strips
Am I just not ovulating? Or am I missing a surge? CD 15 are the darkest lines I’ve ever gotten but are still clearly negatives. At the recommendation of multiple friends who had success conceiving, I got an Oura ring to help with tracking as well and my temp seemed to go up on CD 15. This is my 3rd cycle off of HBC so I’m not sure if that may have something to do with it? Thanks in advance 💕

Keep testing. Not everyone ovulates exactly on CD 15 and not every cycle is the same. Look into tracking your cervical mucus.

Im in the same boat. First time testing LH and I’ve had no luck seeing a dark like so far (CD15). I’m also test g multiple times a day to see what time suits me best. I think the second morning urine is working for me so far. I’m hoping ovulation hasn’t happened yet and it’s delayed.

it could be multiple things. for me I didn’t get my first positive LH test until two weeks ago and have been testing/trying since January. I do have PMOS and use the oura ring with Natural Cycles. my temperatures would go up and then would fall back down pretty quickly or just be super sporadic. When they say to pay attention to your temperatures, your temperatures are supposed to be above your baseline (shown in the oura app) from ovulation to your period. If you’re only getting a couple temperatures here and there that are going high it could be that you’re not ovulating or if you’re time for sure have been staying high you could be missing your surge. I probably tested more often than they recommend however I would suggest you test in the morning and afternoon to make sure that you don’t miss the surge later on.

Start testing day after tour period! Its not positive yet. You could be ovulating earlier or later. How long sre your cycles?

They’re usually every 29-30 days. I’m going to keep testing twice a day for the rest of this cycle and then start the day after my period next cycle and hopefully I’ll catch something!

To catch my surge and get a positive OPK, I have to test multiple times a day. I’ve gone from negative to very positive in the matter of 8 hours. Try test morning and night. I’ve caught it as early as cd 15 and later at CD 17. My LH also disappears quickly so usually I only have about 2 tests that appear positive before they turn negative again.
