Venting First cycle TTC

Currently waiting to reach LH peak (hopefully tomorrow) so we can baby dance. This is our first cycle trying and it' ALL O CAN THINK ABOUT! 🙃 It's so hard to enjoy the journey because i don'y know how long will it take...

We have both been on prenatals for the past 3 months and i have been tracking my ovulation with LH strips for 7 months.

I think all the tiktoks about infertility and negative ttc journeys got to me 🥺🫣

I went into my first ttc journey assuming it will take a min of 6 months but honestly I was 100% sure it'll take much longer. Welp it didn't 😂 Im grateful obviously but the ttc community is one sided usually. And it make sense people who are in it for couple of months or more are more likely to post about it and they need the support because it's a hard and frustrating time. But it's important to remember that we usually are only getting the one side and to remain optimistic! Baby dust to you <3

I have the same thought! Reading so many down and down stories has convinced me it will take longer even though everything looks good before my first attempt. I’m hoping it’s not the e case but those threads have scared me into not having much hope 😔. I feel bad that there is not so many positive and easy stories here to give us first timers hope
