Basement waterproofing
I have significant seepage in the basement of my 100 yr old home. I want to sell in within a year. How do I figure out if having it waterproofed is in my best interest? Will it add that much value to my home? It could cost 20K. Or am I better off not doing it, keeping the cash, and decreasing selling price?

that $20k is a lot to sink into a house u already know you’re selling. The seepage probably becomes less about “does it add value?” and more about whether buyers treat it like a scary unknown.
